Edson is a distinguished legal practitioner with almost a decade of experience in banking and finance, corporate compliance, commercial transactions, and data protection. He currently practices Banking, Corporate, and Commercial where he advises a wide range of institutional clients, including banks, companies, and individual investors, real estate and land transactions. His work involves analyzing commercial transaction files for litigation readiness, He is also experienced in conducting legal due diligence, maintaining securities registers, and ensuring data protection compliance in line with Uganda’s evolving regulatory landscape. Edson brings a proactive and client-centric approach to his practice. He drafts and negotiates complex legal instruments, facilitates cooperation, and provides strategic counsel to clients on regulatory and transactional matters. His earlier roles include legal work with Kamahoro, Kiboome & Kirunda Advocates and the Personal Data Protection Office under the National Information Technology Authority (NITA). Edson is a member the Uganda Law Society and the East African Law Society. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre, Uganda, as well as a Bachelor of Laws (LL. B) Hons from Makerere University.
