Individual and Group Counselling

  • by

At FAJ, our individual mental health counselling services are designed to support clients navigating a wide range of emotional, psychological, and personal challenges—not limited to trauma or PTSD. We provide compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each client’s unique needs, whether they are dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship issues, self-esteem concerns, career or life transitions, or burnout. Our approach is holistic and client-centred, grounded in therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), mindfulness-based approaches, Interpersonal therapy, Narrative Exposure Therapy and Family and Couple Therapy. Every counselling journey begins with a comprehensive assessment that helps us understand the client’s background, current challenges, goals, and strengths. Together, we co-develop a treatment plan that is personalized, measurable, and flexible to ensure meaningful progress over time. Our qualified counsellors and psychologists offer services in a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental environment, where clients are empowered to express themselves, build coping strategies, and develop healthier patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving. FAJ also ensures accessibility through office-based sessions, community outreach, tele-counselling, and, where necessary, home visits. Services are delivered in multiple local languages to meet the needs of a diverse clientele. We believe that mental wellbeing is a foundation for personal growth, professional productivity, and family harmony, and our individual and group counselling services are committed to restoring balance, resilience, and purpose in the lives of those we serve.
