At FAJ, we provide comprehensive psychological assessments for adults and children to systematically understand and address emotional, behavioral, cognitive, and developmental concerns. Assessments are the foundation of effective mental health treatment when conducted contextually, they offer clarity, guide diagnosis, and shape personalized care plans.
A psychological assessment is a structured evaluation process that may include: behavioral observations, clinical interviews and standardized testing. These tools help us understand how a person thinks, feels, behaves, and functions in daily life. Assessments do not label but instead, they give insights, solutions and inform meaningful therapeutic interventions in any life context. We assess children and teenagers ranging from 3 to 17years for a range of developmental, emotional, and learning concerns. We work closely with parents, schools, and other professionals to ensure results are practical and support the child’s success at home, in school, and in social settings. For adults 18years and above, assessments can clarify mental health symptoms, support diagnoses, or guide treatment. We offer evaluations for depression, anxiety, PTSD and trauma related disorders, personality functioning and workplace or legal accommodations. Our reports include actionable- evidence based recommendations to support therapy, medication planning, or workplace and academic adjustments.
If you or your child are struggling and unsure why, facing persistent challenges without clear cause, a psychological assessment can offer clarity, a path forward and inform the next steps towards support and recovery.
